Today is my 31st birthday!

I know, shocking right?! Luckily birthdays don't bug me. Last year when I turned 30 I think my family kept waiting for it to bother me. I just kept saying it felt right- we had just built our house, I have 2 kids, my own business,.... I am supposed to be 30! I feel the same way this year.

In honor of my birthday I'm holding my own special celebration for all of you.

What to Wear- Baby Girl Edition

One of the questions I'm always asked when I'm scheduling a session for a baby is what to bring for them to wear. If baby is under 6 months old most of the time I'll tell them really not to worry about it. I love doing babies naked or just in a diaper. When they are that tiny often times clothes tend to swallow them up. You don't get to see all their teeny tiny features, because they are masked by clothing. This doesn't mean of course that there will be no fun with accessories though! I love baby girls in headbands, hats, tutus, and all sorts of frills. The important thing is that it is an accessory, not the focus of the photo. One of my favorite places to shop for all things girlie is Bella's Bowtique. You can find Bella's at their online shop for all sorts of cute clothing, or head over to etsy to check out all their handmade goodies. Kristie is a fabulous designer with tons of new things coming out all the time. I'm warning you now it can be a dangerous place to shop! ;-)
