Who Wants to Win? {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

I just returned from my 4 days at After Dark Education. It was an amazing experience. I walked away from it inspired, armed with more knowledge, and dead tired! I got the opportunity to sit and listen to some seriously amazing photographers, especially geared to Seniors. I loved getting learn all the fun new products, sessions, and techniques they use.

One of the things that I heard about for the first time are "Friend Sessions". Basically it just a session for a group of friends to go out and have some fun, whatever that means to you. It could be at the skateboard park, the mall, the lake, a park, or wherever we can work out. And, I get to capture you all together. After hearing about these I thought it sounded like so much fun I could hardly wait to do one.

Dani- Lewis and Clark Class of 2011 {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

Dani is another member of the class of 2011. She will be graduating from Lewis and Clark High school. Dani was so much fun! She was up for anything. Even though we battled the bright morning sky- of course there wasn't a single cloud in the sky- and the wind we got some great images. Dani, I hope you have an amazing Senior year! 31 {Spokane, WA Family, Children, Sr. Photographer}

Today is my 31st birthday!

I know, shocking right?! Luckily birthdays don't bug me. Last year when I turned 30 I think my family kept waiting for it to bother me. I just kept saying it felt right- we had just built our house, I have 2 kids, my own business,.... I am supposed to be 30! I feel the same way this year.

In honor of my birthday I'm holding my own special celebration for all of you.

Marina, is another member of the 2011 graduating class. She will be graduating from Cheney Highschool- the same school my kiddos will be attending many years down the road! We met via facebook, and then in real life at her session. She is such a sweet heart, and it truly was a honor to be able to capture this moment in her life. Love you Marina, and best of luck to you in your Senior year, and whatever the future holds!

Marci {Spokane, WA Senior Pictures}

I knew Marci when she was a little girl, and hadn't seen her in probably close to 10 years. It was so much fun taking her photos and seeing how the sweet little girl had grown into a fun, adventerous, and still sweet Senior. I hope you enjoyed your session as much as I did Marci!

Alexis- Class of 2011 {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

Alexis is another member of the Lewis and Clark Drill Team. She was such a pleasure to shoot for. We had fun exploring some places I hadn't been in while, and she got to be the first try out my new chair and bench I found in Coeur d'Alene a couple weeks ago. Although we had her session on what I would consider one of the true first days of summer (we had a 20 degree temperature jump in a matter of 2 days) she was a trooper! What to Wear- Senior Girl Edition {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

On the Road {Senior Pictures, Senior Photography Spokane, WA}

If you're an upcoming Senior and are looking for something fresh and different for your Senior Pictures I've got something for you.

I'm doing a new kind of session- it will take you from the River with its Bridge, and open meadows to an urban backdrop, french cafe's, and the Lake. Where can you find all this? It is at the State line and then all the way to Coeur d'Alene, ID.

You and your friends will be able to follow me from Spokane, as we make some random stops along the way to enjoy the scenery and capture some amazing images. We'll end up in Coeur d'Alene to find you in their downtown, the Resort, docks, and cafes. It is sure to be an adventure filled with lots of fun and unique settings.

I'm only offering 2-3 of these sessions this summer for groups of 2-4 Srs. If you're intersted on taking your Senior Picture session on the road contact me at:

DETAILS:
Session is $300 per person for up to 10 hours of shooting per group (includes travel time). We'll take a break for lunch or dinner.
Each session includes a print credit as well based upon the number of Seniors- up to $100 per person. You must provide your own transportation for the session- my car will be full of goodies for you to use in pictures.

What to Wear- Senior Guy Edition {Spokane, WA Senior Pictures}

Senior Guys- here are a couple ideas for your upcoming photo sessions. Don't be afraid to try something different. Maybe a tie is not quite your style, but try it loosed and messy and it is a totally different look! The key is layers, textures, and YOU! Don't let anyone convince you to wear something you wouldn't normally. Let who you are be what your pictures are all about!

So, you've finished school and are getting ready for your Senior year.

Did you know most schools in the Spokane area require your senior photo to be in by the very beginning of the year? Sad, but true this summer is the time to get them done. To kick things off I'm running a special contest for all you Seniors.

{Glamorous} Senior Photography. Spokane, WA

Baylee is my newest Sr. Rep for the Class of 2011. She will be graduating from Lewis and Clark. B was an absolute dream to shoot. She was up for whatever. Before we started she said she really wanted some pictures done in a field (perfect, since I live on 10 acres and am all around fields!) and the railroad tracks. Beyond that she was willing to do whatever I asked her, and I think it was worth it! Hope you enjoy a peek at her images.

All the Way from Thailand- High School Sr. Pictures Spokane

Joe, as his American friends call him, is here all the way from Thailand. He is spending his Senior Year attending Shadle High School. Although he will be graduating here he is still a part of his school in Thailand. I got the call to take some portraits for him to send via email over to his school. Problem was it was January 2nd, and he needed to have them emailed by January 3rd. Yikes! We got him taken care of, and at midnight, now January 3rd the pictures were on their way!
