I Heart Faces... Smirk {Spokane, WA Children's Photographer}

One of the blogs I follow is I Heart Faces, in fact I just won a year membership to Animoto Pro from them.  Hooray!!!  Each week they have a different theme, for people to submit photos for a contest.  I've never entered before, but as soon as I saw this theme I immediately thought of this picture of Aubrey.  This is definitely her little smirky, I'm gonna get you face.  I love it, and I love my girlie!

Who Wants to Win? {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

I just returned from my 4 days at After Dark Education. It was an amazing experience. I walked away from it inspired, armed with more knowledge, and dead tired! I got the opportunity to sit and listen to some seriously amazing photographers, especially geared to Seniors. I loved getting learn all the fun new products, sessions, and techniques they use.

One of the things that I heard about for the first time are "Friend Sessions". Basically it just a session for a group of friends to go out and have some fun, whatever that means to you. It could be at the skateboard park, the mall, the lake, a park, or wherever we can work out. And, I get to capture you all together. After hearing about these I thought it sounded like so much fun I could hardly wait to do one.

Seniors 2010 {Senior Photographer, Spokane, WA}

So, you've finished school and are getting ready for your Senior year.

Did you know most schools in the Spokane area require your senior photo to be in by the very beginning of the year? Sad, but true this summer is the time to get them done. To kick things off I'm running a special contest for all you Seniors.

I'm going to be giving away a free session ($140 value)!
Not only that, but I've got some more special goodies in store... we'll talk about that in a bit.

In order to enter the contest post a comment under this post with your name, and one place where you'd like your pictures done. A winner will be drawn at random on Sunday, the 17th and announced here on facebook and my blog.

It's a Giveaway / Spokane, WA Photographer

Wow! I am SUPER excited about this contest and seeing all the cuties that will enter! Here is what's at stake:

A FREE Easter mini session with Creatively Yours Photography! This is a 30 minute session, and I'm getting in all kinds of fun Easter props- fake baby chicks, tulips, Easter baskets...., so it's going to be fun! Plus, you'll also receive a free 8x10, and 2 5x7s, and a set of 8 wallets. This is a $70 value! The sessions will take place on either Saturday, the 27th or Sunday, the 28th.

Here are the Basics:

1) You have until Thursday, the 11th to send in a picture of all kiddo/kiddos. One entry per family (ages 10 and under)

2) On Friday, the 12th at 10 am the voting will begin. Voting will continue through Wednesday, the 17th at 10 pm.
3) The winner will be announced on Thursday the 18th.

4) BONUS- everyone that enters will receive a free 8x10 at their next session with Creatively Yours Photography.

5) BONUS- Second and Third place will each receive a $25 print credit to be used at their next session with Creatively Yours Photography

I'd like to go over a few things I'm learning along the way since this is my first giveaway and then the rules to the voting...

Now onto the RULES OF VOTING...

1. Only ONE vote per person per day on our Facebook Business Page (http://www.facebook.com/creativelyyoursphotography) is permitted. Come back each day, choose the one photo you are voting for, and leave a comment underneath the image. Your comment may be as simple as "My vote!". You will need to become a fan in order to leave your comment. If we see that a person has voted more than once on any given date, we will delete all votes by that person on that date!

2. Only ONE vote per computer per day on our Blog Poll is permitted. The poll automatically filters this for me, so I won't have to!

3. Voting takes place from March 12th (10AM) - March 17th (10PM). You may come back everyday to vote!

4. If you have multiple children, they will all be able to participate in the Mini Session should you win!
